The Golden Gate Bridge turns 75 years old this year, and this past weekend, the city celebrated with an amazing fireworks display around the bay and on the bridge. I’ve never really photographed fireworks before, and the masses of people made it difficult to get in a good location (didn’t exactly plan ahead for the thousands of people who showed up). Regardless, it was a great memory, fireworks display and celebration that left everyone wondering what will happen for the 100th birthday.

In February, we were able to get a small group together for a trip to Sonoma – celebrating a few birthdays and drinking a lot of wine. This celebration combo limited my ability to take too many photos, but below is a sampling of those that made it out of the party alive. We visited Gundlach Bundschu and a couple of other great vineyards, but the best part of the weekend was the house we rented – pool, hot tub, croquet, bocce, tire swing, fire pit and about 5 different grills.
