Thursday, March 11th - Waimea Canyon & Kalalau Valley

The Waimea Canyon goes and goes… it is approximately 10 miles wide and has a depth of 3,000 feet. These pictures hardly do it justice, but if there are helicopters in any of these pictures – they’d be such tiny specs that you could hardly see them anyway.

Tuesday, March 9th - Jack Harter Helicopter Tour – No Doors

Before we got strapped into the helicopter, I thought for sure I’d be scared of the whole “no door” thing. Once we got up in the air, it was truly amazing. Aside from the rain at the top of the canyon, we stayed dry and safe. It was truly an amazing experience, and thanks to the lack of doors, it made for some better photos.
